Happy Holidays from our family to yours! We hope you have a lovely holiday season. Enjoy lots of hot coco, decorating, goodies, baking, and family activities together. Every time of the year is special with your family but it's so nice to give them extra hugs right now. They don't stay little forever. I keep asking them to stop growing. "We can't!" is their reply. Sigh. 

I've been shooting some portraits of families who aren't together very often. The holidays are a great time to squeeze that family portrait in. The rain interrupted my last shoot like that and we couldn't reschedule. Family was heading back that day. We did our best and although I was disappointed at first with the outcome (not my usual style), I was happy that I was able to provide this moment and memories for the family. I love what I do.

Summer Special - Two Weekends Only!

Wow! The AmazonLocal jobs kept me busy for the last few months. I still have seven clients who have not contacted me yet. I will still honor the deal price from now and until September 1. After that the value you paid will be applied towards specials or regular sessions. A girl has to eat right?!

I also shot a few birthday parties, couples, families and preschool portraits at 2 private schools. I was a bit hesitant since it wasn't my specialty but I really enjoyed it and the portraits turned out way better than those big box company pics. If you know of any schools who might need a photographer for next year, let me know! 

So summer - it's on right now! The assistants and I have been at the beach and on all kinds of fun outings - museum, bowling, nature center, swim lesson and movies. It's been fun! Hope you all have been having as much fun as we have.

So with AmazonLocal jobs all caught up and rent being due, I decided to run a Summer Special! Runs July 26-29 and Aug.  2-5, 2013. Sessions held 9:30 to noon each day and at the Los Cerritos Park in Long Beach. Location can be changed on one day if you have a few other families/friends who would like to schedule a session before or after yours. Bring your kiddos in a favorite outfit or their new school uniforms!

Summer is here!

Time for the beach, vacations, swimming, swings, parties, and play dates!

Sorry I haven't been keeping up to date over on my blog! I've been busy with end of year school activities, PTA stuff, shooting portraits and of course sitting in front of my computer and editing.

Nice and Busy!

Wow! I have been a busy bee lately! I have a commercial client - finished up a fashion shoot in April and now I'm working on photographing the kids clothes in my "spare time". I had the super fun opportunity to shoot school portraits - one at a Long Beach Preschool and a Waldorf School in the Valley (Los Angeles). Senior portraits, family portraits, 1 year olds and even a small wedding ceremony - loving it all! I cannot believe the amount of great word of mouth I'm getting! Having a blast. Ordered new business cards because I ran out!

Oh I love hearing this from clients! I recently shot little "A's" first birthday party. I love shooting birthday parties. My face is always tired afterwards because I am smiling so much. It's so much fun to document the event - no matter how big or small. All the friends, family, cake all over faces, pinatas and running around. I feel like I'm apart of your family but still a fly on the wall. 

Favorite Valentine's Day Portraits

What a wonderful fun bunch of portrait sessions! It was just a short period of time that Cielo Roth Photography offered this portrait special. Pink paper backdrop and sparkly glitter hearts from Michaels and a lot of  very sweet little valentines! Each had different personalities and willingness to smile and interact with yours truly. 

Springtime, Easter, Mother's Day & Father's Day are right around the corner so it's possible that another round of mini sessions will be announced! Let me know what you think of the quick portrait sessions - what would you like in a package? Prints? Cards? Digital Only? Like the "studio" look with the paper backdrop? Would love to know your opinions.

Very excited about my next Everbloom Studios shoot. Will be doing some simple backdrop vs. the vibrant lifestyle images from the past few years. I have some new models lined up and of course I'll be sharing those when I'm done in a month or so.
